Membership is open to all persons, including corporations, who are interested in the fisheries, aquatic habitats and water resources of Alabama. Current membership includes, but is not limited to, representatives from federal and state agencies, public utilities, higher education, lake/habitat management groups, aquaculturists, and concerned citizens. Annual meetings provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on relevant issues related to commercial and recreational fisheries and the aquatic resources of Alabama.
If you would like to help support our organization at this year’s annual meeting to be held at the Perdido Beach Resort Hotel in Orange Beach, AL from February 18-20th, 2008, the following corporate membership levels are available:
Gold Level $500 donation- This level includes all of the benefits of a Silver sponsorship plus, two of your company’s representatives will be our guests at the annual meeting, social and banquet and each will receive a 1-year membership.
Silver Level $250 donation- This level includes special recognition in the conference program, one representative of your organization will be our guest at the annual meeting, social, and banquet, and a 1-year membership in the AFA. Also, space at our annual meeting will be available for your organization to display information.
Bronze Level $100 donation- This level includes special recognition in the conference program and a 1-year membership in the AFA.
If you or your organization has an interest in fisheries, aquatic habitats, aquaculture, and water resources of Alabama, then supporting the Alabama Fisheries Association is of value to you.
